Who it’s for

The Cotopaxi Allpa 35L is the organizer’s carry-on. If you like everything sorted and visible, hate digging through a single cavernous compartment, and want a bag that clears the sizer with room to spare, this is the pack. It’s less ideal if your priority is the lightest, most comfortable carry under a heavy load, or the maximum capacity you can get away with — there it gives ground to a 40L Osprey.

The organization is the headline

The Allpa opens in a full clamshell, but the main compartment is split by a zip mesh divider, so you get two organized halves instead of one deep bucket — and the mesh means you can see what’s in each without unpacking. Add a weatherproof TPU-coated shell and burly paneling, and it’s a bag built to keep a whole trip sorted and protected. Read the small print: Cotopaxi states plainly that a product’s lifetime is not an indefinite period but an estimate of how long it can realistically keep working. That is a narrower promise than the 61-year figure the brand used to advertise, and narrower than Osprey’s no-time-limit guarantee — but on a bag you will travel with for years, a repair-or-replace commitment is still a real part of what the price buys.

The Allpa 35L is the carry-on to buy if organization and reliable sizer-clearance matter more to you than raw capacity and the lightest possible carry.
