Who we are
Passage & Pier is an online publisher operated by Type 5 Marketing LLC. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site and how it’s used. You can reach us at info@passageandpier.com with any privacy question.
What we collect
Analytics data.We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people move through the site. It collects standard, largely anonymized data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use it in aggregate to improve the site, not to identify you.
Contact form. When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you and don’t add you to any marketing list.
We do notrun user accounts, sell products directly, or knowingly collect information from children. We don’t sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
Cookies and affiliate links
Analytics uses cookies or similar technology to measure usage. When you click an affiliate link and go to a retailer like Amazon, that retailer may set its own cookie to credit us for a resulting purchase — this is how affiliate programs work, and it’s governed by that retailer’s privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how those links work. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Third parties
The services that make the site work — Google Analytics, our hosting provider, and the email service that delivers contact-form messages — process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Affiliate retailers you click through to operate independently under their own policies.
Your choices
You can use the site without submitting any personal information; only the contact form asks for it. You can opt out of Google Analytics with a browser add-on or by blocking cookies, and you can ask us what contact information we hold for you, or to delete it, by emailing info@passageandpier.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected here.
